What they have in common is a box. A simple metal box that was meant to stay hidden forever. Unfortunately, two young boys find the box and thus unleash a terrible series of events

Because inside this box is another box, made of intricately designed wood that contains an item that, in the wrong hands, could doom mankind.

There are tomb raiders and artifact thieves who will do anything to make the box theirs. They will kill and torture seemingly innocent men and women and they will kidnap children just to claim it.

Peter Carpenter, a down-on-his-luck cliché of a private eye in Houston, Texas and Eliana Amendola, an archeologist from Tel Aviv set out to find the answer. They will encounter murderers, thieves, kidnappers, and a breathtaking yacht. And...they will fall in love. They travel from Houston, to London to Tel Aviv and then Hillsboro, Texas in pursuit of this mysterious metal box.

When the box is taken from Eliana the thieves discover there are three people needed to open it because nothing on this Earth or any other will. Peter and Eliana are two of them. Who is the missing third person? Where is this person? How will Peter and Eliana find him or her and will they survive until this person is found?

And what is this mysterious artifact?
