Another Space in Time

After being assassinated on Earth the "hero" of the story finds himself on another earth-like planet. Even before he comes to terms with having anything but an extremely vivid dream he is being pursued by terrorists and by the police. Somehow he has to win against stacked odds, and prove himself innocent of having become a killer himself.
We see this new world through the eyes of Rodwell, as he comes to understand something of the his new home, and the human and animal creatures that inhabit it. If only some of the native people couldn't so easily read Rodwell's mind, life would be far easier. Luckily for Rodwell this one-sided skill isn't always to the possessor's advantage.
